KSA Elects New Shareholders

Longview, Texas – January 27, 2023 – KSA’s annual shareholder meeting was held on January 27, 2023. Thirteen new professionals were added to the company’s prestigious group of shareholders.

New Shareholders:

Blake Bogenschutz, P.E.

Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Blake Bogenschutz, P.E., has designed and managed a variety of municipal engineering projects related to water and wastewater treatment, water production, storage, and distribution systems, wastewater collection and conveyance systems, streets, sidewalks, and drainage facilities. He holds a background in computer-aided design software programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and SewerGEMS. Blake enjoys acting on challenging projects to continuously improve his knowledge and expertise in the municipal engineering industry. He takes pride in his projects and strives to produce consistent and quality work for his clients. Blake is a dependable engineer who treasures the opportunity to improve infrastructure in a manner that provides different regions with reliable and long-lasting solutions.

Jonanna Bogue

Jonanna Bogue, Accounting Manager, joined KSA in 1997, after graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler. AS KSA has grown and evolved, Jonanna has provided attention to detail in all facets of accounting. Jonanna is responsible for all accounts receivable or anything project related regarding accounting. She is a proficient user of KSA’s accounting software, AEC360.

Jennifer Cox 

Jennifer Cox, Marketing Manager, joined KSA in 2006. She is a Texas A&M University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. In her role as Marketing Manager, Jennifer helps coordinate marketing activities that include external messaging, brand development, and protection. Her position within the marketing department gives Jennifer a unique vantage point for connecting the various offices and individuals in KSA. Jennifer is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the proposal team and is a proficient user of InDesign.

Dave Crim, RPLS

Dave has worked in surveying for almost 26 years and has been with KSA for 23 years. Dave began his survey career as a rodman and advanced through the ranks by pursuing skills and training to further his knowledge. In 2014, Dave graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in surveying. In 2017, he became a registered surveyor and currently partners with several oil and gas clients. He has played a role in over 1900 projects at KSA and continues to grow professionally.

Adam Hilliard, P.E.

Adam Hilliard, P.E., joined the KSA Municipal Services Team in the Amarillo, Texas office. Adam received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from West Texas A&M University. Adam has been involved in a variety of engineering projects that include commercial and residential land development, drainage design and improvements, water and sewer line design, and municipal street and sidewalk improvements. He has a background in software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Hydraflow Express, Hydrographs, and Storm and Sanitary Analysis. Adam is the president of the High Plains Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers and takes pride in his job.

Robbin Kersey, C.P.M.

As a Regional Client Service Leader for Municipal Services in the Austin area, Robbin spreads the good news of KSA throughout the region. Her passion for people, and helping communities thrive brings her much joy.

Robbin worked with KSA for many years in product specification and joined the company 6 years ago. She has great compassion for her clients and wants each person to feel that she has understood their needs and helped them accomplish their goals. Robbin considers herself determined and says she can usually find a winning strategy when she sets her sights on a goal. She is the South Central Region Past President of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and an  Austin Chapter member. Robbin currently is a member of TCMA, UMACT, WLG, and WTS.

Jacob Medus, P.E.

Jacob Medus, P.E., graduated in 2012 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering also from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He joined KSA in 2018 and is responsible for the design and construction oversight and administration of airfield projects including runway, taxiway, apron construction and reconstruction, rehabilitation, airfield drainage, and airfield lighting. He is experienced in conducting airfield pavement inspections for the generation of airfield pavement management programs. Jacob is proficient in Auto CAD and is a member of ASCE.

Carrie Melton 

Carrie Melton has worked at KSA since 1999, now the Director of Finance. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Carrie oversees the administration of our accounting software AEC360.  When Carrie began working at KSA, she was responsible for everything accounts payable-related. “I have pretty much done every accounting function within KSA, I even handled purchasing for a period. I also work with the Human Resources team on payroll-related issues.”

In addition to accounting responsibilities, Carrie oversees the administration of our company database. She loves working with numbers and it gives her a great sense of accomplishment when she can resolve an issue or help answer questions.

Curt Moreno

Curt Moreno, IT Manager, is responsible for overseeing KSA’s Information and Technology system. Curt has been in the AEC industry for over 30 years. Since 2000, he has been with KSA in various roles, evolving with the ever-changing technology. He oversees KSA network operations and security, works to improve corporate systems while reducing costs, and oversees data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery processes. Curt has created long-lasting vendor relationships and contracts that KSA relies on for hardware, software, and other IT services. Curt offers endless support to KSA employees and their IT requests, all while devising and implementing new corporate initiatives. He is proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere. For the last 8 years, Curt has been a member of the Autodesk University Advisory Council and is a former AUGI board of directors member. He is an award-winning and highly-rated speaker in the AEC/CAD industry and has worked with firms such as Autodesk, Leica Geosystems, and HP.

Keri Pack, PHR, SHRM-SCP

Keri Pack, PHR, SHRM-SCP, Talent and Operations Specialist, joined KSA in May 2012. She has been in the AEC industry for 25 years. Keri works with the Aviation Team on operations, planning, and oversight, including staffing and resource needs, project scheduling, and practice group financial tracking. In 2022, Keri began working with the Human Resources Team to lead campus recruiting efforts, focusing on EITs and new graduates. Keri played a crucial role in revamping the onboarding program, and the summer internship program. Keri is a Texas Tech University graduate, received her Human Resources Certification from Collin College, and is a member of DallasHR.

Whitney River, P.E.

Whitney Rivers, P.E., project manager at KSA is a University of Texas at Tyler graduate with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. During her time at UT Tyler, Whitney contributed to a multidisciplinary team on a design project for NASA and was selected to submit an essay on Ethics and the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) Report Card for the ASCE 2011 National Daniel W. Mead Student Contest. Whitney has experience in both public works and commercial land development.

Whitney has a background in project management, and the preparation of plans that include demolition, site, grading, drainage, storm sewer, and utility plans. Whitney has also prepared contracts and bid documents for Capital Improvement Projects. She has hands-on design experience with keystone and limestone retaining walls, preparing budgets and plans, specifications, and bid documents for projects, and coordinating between contractors and clients. Whitney also has a background in water tank rehabilitation, well field water transmission mains, and water main relocation and construction.

Sheila Rogers

Sheila Rogers joined the KSA team in 2009. She is KSA's Contract Specialist and Assistant Secretary of KSA. Sheila’s attention to detail and ability to assist all of KSA’s employees makes her a true asset to KSA. She oversees the client and consultant contracts, and as corporate secretary, she is responsible for the corporate records of all proceedings and share distribution. Sheila is a dedicated team member and is committed to excellence. Sheila is a proficient user of Newforma, KSA’s Project Information Management system, and AEC360.

Robert Vinet, P.E.

Robert F. Vinet, P.E. is KSA’s Regional Client Service Leader in Louisiana working out of the Shreveport Office where he plays a key role in servicing the needs of existing clients and projects while developing new business opportunities for the firm.

With over 25 years of professional experience, he comes to KSA from AT&T where he served as the Regional Director for External and Governmental Affairs for North and Central Louisiana.  Prior to that, he was the Marketing Director for the Red River Waterway Commission and a Vice President for the consulting-engineering firm of Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. (BKI) managing their Shreveport office.

His consulting engineering practice has been over a wide range of projects including highway engineering and planning, flood control and drainage improvements, utility infrastructure design and master planning, port and maritime improvements, land development and land surveying services, as well as, Geographic Information System (GIS) integration/application.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi, and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Mechanical and Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
