Wortham ISD Design Build

This project consists of a new Agriculture Facility of the Wortham ISD.  KSA was selected to provide the architecture and engineering design services through a Design Build contract.  The new facility makes use of a Pre-Engineering Metal Building structure and provides 5,000 square feet of new educational space.  In addition, approximately 1,000 square feet of secure covered outside storage is also provided.  The building provides two new classroom spaces, student locker storage area, teacher’s office, restrooms, storage closets, and an open work area that will accommodate up to seven new welding booths.  In addition, pull through access is provided by two large overhead doors that will allow truck/trailer access for ease of loading materials and projects in and out of the building.  The building makes use of a 14’-0” eave height and a 4’-0 high brick wainscot is provided around the perimeter of the building.
