Chris joins KSA as Manager of Federal Contracting, a newly developed service group. Chris received his master’s in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, then went on to serve in a number of military design and planning roles across the globe, from Louisiana to Spain. He also completed his active duty tenure in the Air Force as a Captain. He continued his military career as an Air Force Reserve Civil Engineering Officer for an elite internal Air Force design-build unit called RED HORSE (Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron and Engineering). As a part of a “Nation Building” effort, Chris managed the design and construction of airfields, schools, and clinics in the Caribbean.
In addition to his reserve duties, Chris launched his private sector career, planning and designing general aviation airports across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He continued his private sector career, working with architecture and engineering firms across the nation; leading and initiating their federal planning and design efforts. In the last 10 years, Chris has secured over $1 billion in new work for the firms he’s represented. He also has over a decade of experience in design-build projects, totaling over $750 million.
Chris has an uncanny ability to explore and creatively dissect possible scenarios, then forge a viable plan and see it through to its completion. This kind of provision is why he’s been named one of the top planners in the nation by being elected into the College of Fellows for the American Institute of Certified Planners; a recent honor he’s deemed a ‘significant career validating event’. By breathing a spark of hope and excitement into everything he does, Chris makes things happen and helps others find and pursue their passions.
