In 2003, the City of Gladewater authorized improvements for the City’s water treatment plant. To respond to immediate THM problems in
the finished water, the City hired KSA Engineers, Inc. to develop plans for improvements.
The first phase of construction consisted of the installation of a chloramine system as well as feed equipment for other water treatment
chemicals.
KSA designed a panel near the clearwell with analytical equipment in it and analytical equipment in the filter pipe gallery. The firm also
designed two manholes and extra piping to complete the project.
