Longview Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Longview, Texas KSA has been working with the City of Longview for the past 25 years to construct various upgrades & expansions to the city’s wastewater treatment plant, over that period, the plant has been upgraded from a capacity of 12 MGD to 21 MGD. The plant is a trickling filter/ activated sludge plant with tertiary filters and ultraviolet disinfection. Sludge is treated in four anaerobic digesters and subsequently dewatered on two 2.0 meter belt filter presses. Plant effluent limits are 5/10/3/4.
