Clute Wastewater Collection System Clute, Texas KSA Engineers worked with the City of Clute to solve a problem that they experienced with a major sanitary sewer gravity line that was deteriorating and failing.  The existing sewer line was approximately 10,600 feet long and consisted of a 42” and 48” corrugated metal pipe sanitary sewer line paralleling  Old Angleton Road.  KSA investigated several options for this project in a preliminary engineering report including rehabilitation (slipline and cured-in-place) and replacement.  The City agrees on a construction project to slipline the existing pipeline with 42” and 36” HDPE pipe and to construct connections and miscellaneous improvements.
